Expand Your KitchenAid Preparation System

This extension pack is specially designed for use with the KitchenAid Vegetable Slicer and Shredder Attachment (5KSMVSA), which is sold separately. The cylinders cannot be connected directly to a stand mixer without that attachment body.

Secure the 5KSMVSA to the multipurpose attachment hub of any KitchenAid stand mixer, insert your chosen cylinder and let the mixer power the preparation. Grate cheese, shred vegetables and prepare potatoes with far less manual effort.

All three cylinders feature durable stainless steel blades designed for reliable, consistent preparation. Their quick-change design makes it easy to move between different textures as your recipe develops.

Simply remove one cylinder and slot another into the attachment body. Go from finely grating vegetables to preparing potatoes for rösti or shredding chocolate for a dessert in moments.

Shredding and Grating Made Simple

The fine shredding cylinder is ideal for harder foods such as hard cheese, chocolate and nuts. Use the results as toppings for salads and pasta, fillings for sandwiches or finishing touches for homemade desserts.

The potato grating cylinder creates the texture needed for hash browns, fritters, rösti and potato cakes. It can also be used with other suitable firm ingredients whenever your recipe calls for a coarser grated result.

For finer preparation, choose the fine grating cylinder. It quickly processes firm vegetables such as carrots for carrot cake or cabbage for homemade coleslaw, helping you achieve an even texture without reaching for a box grater.

Quick and Simple Cleaning

Once you have finished shredding and grating, all three cylinders can be washed in the top rack of the dishwasher. Allow them to dry thoroughly before storing.

The separately sold 5KSMVSA attachment body should be washed by hand in warm, soapy water, then dried and stored with the clean cylinders until your next round of food preparation.
