Hand blenders are known by several names, including immersion blenders and stick blenders, but just about everyone who owns one agrees on the same thing: they are incredibly useful.

Prepare smooth soups, shakes, sauces, purées and baby food wherever it suits you. The removable 17.78 cm blending arm reaches comfortably into bowls, jugs and saucepans, while its four-point stainless steel blade efficiently blends, crushes, mixes, froths and purées ingredients.

A responsive variable-speed trigger lets you control the texture with one hand. Squeeze gently to begin slowly, then apply more pressure when the recipe needs greater speed.

A Handy Jar for Making, Serving and Storing

The included 1 L BPA-free blending jar reduces the need for separate measuring cups and bowls. Its non-slip grip ring helps it remain stable while you blend, and the accompanying lid lets you prepare, serve and store a recipe in the same container.

Once you have finished, the jar and lid can be placed in the upper rack of the dishwasher for straightforward cleaning.

The choice is yours. When you want to blend ingredients directly in a saucepan, pot or other container, the removable pan guard clips onto the blending arm to help protect your cookware from scratches.

It creates a buffer between the stainless steel blade assembly and the cooking surface without getting in the way of the blending action. The pan guard is also dishwasher-safe in the upper rack.

Fit the blender body onto the 590 ml chopper attachment to chop small quantities of meat, onion, garlic, cheese, carrots, herbs or nuts. It can also prepare salsa, pesto and breadcrumbs with short squeezes of the trigger.

When paired with a fully charged KitchenAid Go 12V Max lithium-ion battery, the hand blender provides up to 30 minutes of continuous runtime. Actual runtime will vary according to the recipe, attachment, intensity of use and condition of the battery.

The removable battery clicks securely into place, while indicator lights show how much charge remains. It recharges via USB-C in approximately three hours, with solid indicator lights showing when charging is complete.
